Our Store Policy
Merchandise may be returned within 10 days of receiving the item for Store Credit ONLY, excluding: exclusive Bella Notte colors whether in stock or special ordered, Twin and CalKing items, Pine Cone Hill curtain panels, Bella Notte curtain panels, cut yardage, bedscarves, loungewear, mattresses, pillow or duvet inserts, artwork, area rugs, and any item custom finished, custom sized or items customized in any way. Anything that French Bleu Living does not carry on one of our showroom floors is considered a custom order. If you are at all uncertain if what you are ordering is considered custom, please contact us to verify. (910) 691-8030. The customer is responsible for making sure all home dimensions are accurate so that furniture can be placed in the home. Cottage Chic is not responsible for any Measurement Errors and if a measurement error occurs Cottage Chic cannot take back any furniture for any kind of refund or credit.
When returning/exchanging items, customer is responsible for shipping costs. Items returned without an issued RA # will not be accepted and all items must be returned in their original packaging. Items may be exchanged one time per order, multiple exchanges are not accepted.
Cancellations will only be accepted within 48 hours from the time the order was placed. No cancellations, exchanges, or store credits allowed on custom orders.
Any DISCOUNTED or ON SALE items are FINAL SALES and are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Store credits are provided once the item(s) arrive back to our store in perfect condition. Shipping charges are not refunded on anything being returned/exchanged and will not be included in the store credit amount. There is no expiration date on store credits.
Shipping quotes are based on the weight of the items that are purchased and the location in which they will be shipped to. French Bleu Living will provide approximate shipping amounts but these are estimates only. If you wish to get an exact freight quote, please allow us up to 24 hours to respond so we can provide you with the most accurate rate at the lowest possible cost.
Furniture Shipping information
Shipping dates are not determined by French Bleu Living, once an order is ready with a manufacturer, we will be notified and we will set up the pick up of your item(s) with a bonded and licensed delivery company. Turnaround times depend on location of the manufacturer as well as the location of the final shipment. French Bleu Living does not have control of the shipping company’s transit times and delivery schedules. Once the delivery company receives your item(s) you will be contacted by the delivery company directly when they have put you on their schedule to your area.
Upon delivery of your item(s), please take time to inspect all freight shipped items carefully for any damage that may have occurred in transit. Any claim not reported at the time of delivery will not be accepted.
If for any reason your custom furniture piece does not arrive with the specifications that you selected when ordering, or the item(s) arrive damaged, French Bleu Living reserves the right to have the item(s) replaced and reshipped at no additional charge to you. Please contact us immediately if this occurs so that we can get the replacement in the works as soon as possible.
Shipping times are subject to availability of products and/or manufacturers availability. While we carry a large inventory of bedding, furniture items, lighting, area rugs and artwork, some of these items will need to be ordered. Lead times vary depending on the item that is purchased, the fabric or finish chosen, etc. Once we receive an order, we will notify you if the item(s) you purchased are in stock or if we need to order them. At that time, we can keep the order as is or we can cancel it if the lead time will not work for you.

Collected whenever you shop with French Bleu Living, we obtain from you the information we need to complete your transaction. This may include your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number. We also keep records of your specific product purchases and transactions with us. We will not in any way distribute or sell any of your private information.
